The Atlanta Blues Society is lending its support in the collection of Tax deductible donations targeted for Blues Musicians whose lives and means of support have been devastated by Hurricane Katrina.

!00 percent of all monies donated, including credit card processing fees, (to be paid by the Atlanta Blues Society) will be funneled to charities determined to support Blues Musicians affected by this disaster. The ABS will do the research to investigate each charity to insure the money donated will get to the Musicians in need and not to high administration cost or outright scams. If suitable charities can not be found that meet these requirements, the funds will be distributed directly to Musicians who we find who desperately need the help from reliable sources.

A full accounting of the funds collected and how the funds were dispersed will be available at our annual meeting to all interested parties.
